Within-group analysis showed significant improvements (p < 0.05) in the DAT, agility T-test, and 10 MS performance from pre- to post-test for the STG (6.08%, 2.64%, and 5.68%, respectively) and ATG (4.05%, 3.28%, and 3.27%, respectively). Before and after the training period, participants’ 10 m sprint (10 MS), agility T-test, and digging agility test (DAT) performances were assessed. The intervention program was carried out three times a week for six weeks. Twenty-seven young female volleyball players were randomly assigned to a shuttle-run training group (STG, n = 9), an agility-ladder training group (ATG, n = 9), and a control group (CG, n = 9). The aim of this study was to examine the effects of different agility training methods on skill-related physical capabilities in young volleyball players. Coaches may consider the relationship between critical skills of volleyball to promote their team performance. The results showed that there were significant relationships between reception zone with setting zone, setting zone with attack quality as well as reception zone with attack quality. Statistical significance was set at p 0.5 for small, medium, and large effects respectively. Bivariate associations were assessed for pairs of variables with Pearson's chi-squared tests. Data were exported to the Data Volley special volleyball analysis software. Initially, during each game video checking, data were collected, and irrelevant/invalid outputs were deleted. The analysis process included reviewing the videos of the games by an experienced scout man who was an expert analyst and specialist in the knowledge of volleyball skills. As one of the main characteristics of volleyball is defined as the intense relationship between its skills and concluded performance, the present study aimed to perform a comprehensive analysis of the serve reception zone, set zone and attack quality of the top-level volleyball players. The game analysis is known as a useful tool for understanding the level of technical-tactical performance of volleyball.
